A Note From Bali

I wanted to start something new — a monthly note from me, wherever I happen to be, sharing a little behind the scenes of Paneros, life, and the moments that inspire what we create.

This past month in Bali has been grounding, inspiring, and honestly a little magical. There’s a quiet rhythm to the mornings that feels intentional — a reminder to slow down before the day unfolds. My days have been spent moving between artisans’ workshops, fabric stores tucked down small streets, and fittings that feel more like collaboration than work. Right now, we’re deep in development — refining silhouettes you already love, testing new fabrications and obsessing over the small details that make a piece feel effortless and lasting.

We also just wrapped our latest collection photoshoot, which felt incredibly special. Seeing months of ideas, fittings, and fabric choices finally come to life through the lens is always one of my favorite moments. At the same time, watching our new factory take shape has been deeply meaningful — seeing the progress day by day, imagining the garments that will be made there, and knowing we’re building something intentional, ethical, and lasting from the ground up.

On weekends, everything softens. Beach days that stretch longer than planned, time spent with friends around shared meals, and being fully present with my family. It’s in these slower, quieter moments that I feel most grounded — and most connected to why I create the way I do.

What’s coming next feels really special. We’re planning pieces that are seasonless, thoughtful, and designed to be worn again and again — clothes meant to live with you, not just exist for a single moment. This year also brings a renewed focus on storytelling, inviting you closer to the process, the people, and the places behind Paneros.
