When you're shopping, consider quality over quantity.

Did you know that clothing represents more than 60% of the total textiles manufactured today? It's been estimated that over the past 2 decades, clothing production has approximately doubled to over 50 million tons per year. At the same time, clothing use has declined by almost 40%.

Fast fashion promotes unsustainable and unnecessary over-consumption, with low cost, low quality clothes that fall apart and are not readily recycled.

Why does this matter?

It is estimated that over 50% of fast fashion produced is disposed of in under a year, often ending up in a landfill or burned. Nearly 50 million tons of clothing, not only fast fashion garments, are disposed of annually.

This is a shift in habits for you, the consumer, to consider. Luckily, you can still find the clothes you love with higher quality.
